Description
An Uruwera-standard 4-bunk hut (3 mattresses) on the TL of the Te Weramata Stream. 20m above the river on the base of a spur, the hut looks down over the forks, over what used to be a grassy clearing but is now a thicket of bracken and nettle. Remains of others structures exist beside the stream. Tank water, woodburner, hut in good condition. DOC triangles mark track up to hut from upriver side of forks clearing. Basic Hut/bivvy
