A private (former DOC) biv located in Apias Creek in the northern Ruahunes. A 2-mattress dog-box with a porch containing 2 more bunks and a cooking bench. The hut is becoming rough since maintenance stopped, but is still weathertight and functional. This hut now lies on iwi-owned land.
The biv lies just upriver of the forks, hidden behind a rocky outcrop, set back in the scrub on the northern bank.
