An old goldminer's hut 'restored' in the 1980's for the making of the film Illustrious Energy: https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/illustrious-energy-1988 The hut features a stone bed, stone table & a small open fireplace with a stovepipe out the wall. It is unclear how practical the fireplace is. Access is off the Conroy's Historic Loop Track from the end of the Conroy's Dam Road near Alexandra
