Description
The largest island at approximately 1.4km long in the Flax Islands which is part of the Mokohinau Islands group. Feature shown on: NZTopo50-AX33 907245; Well known local name. The name known by mutton-birders was Pokohinu Island, but as Burgess was well known it was deemed unwise to change the name.
