Description
A small hilly island roughly 2.5km in length located approximately 2.5km from the north-east coast of Great Barrier Island (Aotea Island). Feature shown on: NZMS260 S08 T08; NZTopo50-AY34 246990; 'Auckland, near Great Barrier Island. So named from the arid nature of the soil. Maori name: Rakitu.'
