For the westernmost island in the Chickens group. Also known as "West Chicken"; Name submitted by the Chief Surveyor Auckland, December 1970, to clear up some discrepencies in the naming of some features on the Hen and Chickens Islands, and to have appropriate names for some of the features on the islands given official approval. Origin and meaning unknown. Also to be known as "West Chicken"
