Description
Small island at the entrance to the Kerikeri Inlet north of Onewhero Bay positioned between the mainland and Kent Passage. Feature shown on: NZMS260 Q05; NZTopo50-AV29 995034; 'Northland, Bay of Islands. Lit. motu: island; roa: long. This is one of the large islands in the bay, to which passengers from the wrecked Brampton were taken in 1823. There is another Moturoa Island in Queen Charlotte Sound.'
