Island southwest of North Rock, East Group, Bounty Islands. Feature shown on: NZOITopo25-BI01; Con is abbreviated from conning, as the island resembles the conning tower of a partially submerged submarine. Named during the BAAS (Bounty-Antipodes-Auckland-Snares) Expedition, 1978.
