Description
Lake at head of Talbot River, a tributary of Joes River.; Discovered and named by Talbot and Grave in Jan 1907 because of the large numbers of Buttercups on its shores. Name extracted from the book "Beyond the Southern Lakes" which is an account of the explorations of W R Grave.; 'Named in 1907 by W.G. Grave due to the buttercups growing on the shores.'
