Description
Small circular lake, about 100-200m in diameter, at the head of Macpherson Creek, a tributary of Haast River, in Mount Aspiring National Park.; Named after Burt Barra, a deer culler in the 1930's. He played a major part in that operation in this area, and first saw the lake while culling, but may not have been the first person to find it.
