A lake in the extreme west end of Pearse Valley, north of Friis Hills in Victoria Land. Feature depicted on: NZ AntTopo50-MF08; Named by the eighth Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions (VUWAE), 1963-64, for Donald "Don" A. House, chemist and member of the Victoria University's Antarctic Expeditions (VUWAE) party that explored lakes in Taylor, Wright, and Victoria Valleys.
