Feature shown on: NZMS260 B41 C41 PtC40; 'Fiordland National Park, George Sound. Named by Richard Henry, the caretaker on Resolution Island, after Katherine Alice Melland, the wife of Edward Melland, by whom Henry had been employed on the Te Anau Downs station.
