Info Origin
Rotokura means "the school of healing waters". The lake was always considered a meeting place where knowledge was passed on through the healing waters of the lake. Kura means 'red or scarlet' and members of the Board thought it could have something to do with the reddish colour of the water. Correction of spelling from "Rotokuru"
