Info Origin
Submitted by Mr Andrew Anderson, Honorary Ranger for the Arthur's Pass National Parks Board. Named after Sally Page, daughter of R O Page, a member of the Lockwood party who first discovered lake Anna, and possibly this lake in 1931. She also climbed many peaks and skied in this area, and had a long association with the National Park.
