Ponds on the western side of Tekapo River south of confluence with Fork Stream at the foot of Patersons Terrace.; Man made ponds as a result of the Upper Waitaki Hydro Development, situated below Patersons Terrace which is named after Andrew Paterson, a Runholder and stock inspector in the 1860's.
