Lake on Misty river flowing into Precipice Cove of Bradshaw Sound. 2.5km north of Precipice Cove.; Name descriptive of the shape of the lake. Name submitted by R S Duff, Director of Canterbury Museum. The name was of a feature noted during the Canterbury Museum Fiordland Expedition of January 1955.
