A 6 bunk NZFS hut on the south bank of Basins Creek at the confluence with the Avoca. Creek water 50m away, and a woodburner. Busy and popular with hunters / 4WD people when the road is open but quiet and pleasant otherwise (closed from lambing through to December usually, $20 access, permission required). Standard Hut
