Lake on Secretary Island, approximately 2.5km north-northeast of All Round Peak.; Name submitted by GTS Baylis, Professor of Botany at Otago University in November 1967, to provide feature names to facilitate vegetation studies on Secretary Island. Name descriptive of the type of vegetation found here.
