Description
Small lake near Furkert Pass between Pleasant Range and Merrie Range. It is one of the sources of Houroko Burn which flows into Lake Hauroko, Fiordland National Park.; Named by Mr FW Furkert because one of his party, Tom Laffy, was photographed with swag up on the tussock shore of the lake during their expedition in the 1930s.
