On the west side of Lake Matilda, near Deep Cove, Doubtful Sound / Patea.; Named after Mrs Lucy Leigh Hunt. Discovered by Leslie Murrell, guide, of Manapouri in about 1928. 'Fiordland National Park, Doubtful Sound/Patea. Named by Arthur Leigh Hunt, a Wellington businessman and explorer, after his wife. See also Matilda, Lake.'
