Upper lake on Mike River flowing into Fanny Bay, Tamatea / Dusky Sound, and 2km southeast of Perpindicular Peak.; The name is derived from the registration ZK AVM of one of the planes of Amphibian Airways, a local company that pioneered aircraft landings on these lakes. M being for Mike.
